Welcome to Villa Mora. This luxurious 7-bedroom 7.5-bath beachfront gated estate sits on over 200 feet of pristine beach with fabulous snorkeling and breathtaking sunset views of tranquil South Sound. 


Spanning over 8,000 sq. ft., this magnificent oceanfront home features ample outdoor space including a 75-foot-long pool with a whirlpool spa, an expansive covered veranda, an outdoor kitchen with a propane BBQ grill, plus an oceanfront pergola.


The main villa sleeps 16 guests (10 adults max) across five spacious bedroom suites and two comfortable pull-out couches. All bedrooms except the twin suite enjoy spectacular ocean views and offer private balconies or covered porticos. 


The gourmet kitchen comes equipped with modern stainless appliances, granite counters, and a breakfast bar with seating.


The great room dining area provides seating for 14 and features a retractable glass wall providing walk-out access to the pool deck and open-air views of the Caribbean.


Villa Mora’s guest cottage sits at the far end of the pool beyond the heated spa and features two queen suites accommodating an additional 4 guests. Each suite opens out onto an oceanfront deck nestled against manicured lawns down to the beach. The cottage also features a covered veranda with an outdoor kitchen and bar area.


Sleeping Arrangements
(Sleeps 20 guests total, 14 adults max*)


The main villa can be rented alone for up to 16 guests, 10 adults max, with an option to include the guest cottage to sleep a total of 20 guests, 14 adults max. The rent difference is $300/night plus taxes and fees.


Even if you rent just the main villa, the outdoor kitchen is yours to use. The cottage is never rented out to unrelated guests during your stay. 



  • East Primary Suite: upper-level, king bed, ocean views, private balcony, TV, walk-in closet, ensuite bath with dual vanity, soaking tub, and separate glass shower with dual rain showerheads.

  • West Primary Suite: upper-level, California king bed, ocean views, private balcony, TV, walk-in closet, ensuite bath with dual vanity, soaking tub, and separate shower.

  • East Suite: lower-level spanning the entire east wing, queen bed, ocean views, TV, walk-out access to the pool deck, walk-thru den with queen sleeper sofa, ensuite with shower bath.

  • West Suite: lower-level, ocean views, California king bed, small daybed, walk-out access to the pool deck, ensuite bath with shower. 

  • Garden Suite: 2 twin beds, lower-level, garden views, TV, ensuite bath with shower. (twin beds cannot be made into a king)

  • Cottage Suite #1: detached from the main house, ocean views, queen bed, ensuite bath with shower.

  • Cottage Suite #2: detached from the main house, ocean views, queen bed, ensuite bath with shower.

  • Home Office: upper-level, ocean views, desk + chair, sleeper sofa suitable for 2 children only.

Villa Mora is conveniently located 10-12 minutes from the airport, and a short drive to Seven Mile Beach, Georgetown, as well as plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, and local attractions. A hospital is nearby as well in case of emergencies.


Sandy beachfront in both directions for walking and reef-protected snorkeling all around with corals and vibrant marine life. Please wear swim fins or pool shoes in the sea.

Villa Mora Checked All The Boxes and More!!

As a family of 12, we wanted a place in Grand Cayman that would give us space to gather and enjoy each other but provide privacy when needed. The house was very clean and spacious. Having a private office plus the exact right amount of bedrooms and baths gave our family what we needed for a perfect vacation. Villa Mora checked all the boxes and more! The Grand Cayman Villas management staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Check-in was super easy and included all our groceries waiting for us upon arrival. The kitchen was stocked well and gave us what we needed to prepare several fun meals at the house. We took advantage of the great outdoor kitchen and the beautiful clean pool, and everything worked perfectly. When the rain came, we took advantage of the beautiful media room big enough for all of us to catch-up on our favorite shows! We loved the views out the back windows and made sure to spend as much time as we could on the patio enjoying the beauty of the south sound. The location of Villa Mora was perfect as it was an easy drive from the airport and to the Hurley\'s grocery store! It took no time at all to get up to Freeport for shopping and great restaurants, to Seven Mile Beach, or to the different harbors for each of our excursions. We rented three cars so the ample parking space at the Villa was necessary and worked well for us. We were sad to leave but are already looking forward to returning to Villa Mora!\" I also wanted to say: we couldn\'t be happier with your team (all of you at the Grand Cayman Villas & Condos and Silver Thatch). Penni Bell was so responsive and super helpful before and during our time at Villa Mora. She definitely went above and beyond for us. The Housekeeping staff was incredible and we greatly appreciated how clean the house was upon our arrival and throughout our stay. We adored our World Cat excursion with Captain Warren - my family is still talking about it!

Lots of Space to Relax

What a fantastic house for my 60th birthday celebration with 6 couples! The snorkeling is amazing with many coral heads and a reef past the breaker. Long snorkel swim to get out or short on kayaks. Much Needed Vacation

All of our needs were met - kayaks, life vests, snorkel gear - were immediately available. Perfect Villa

This was the PERFECT Villa for our group. We had 3 separate families plus another couple, and while we all felt together the whole time, there was also great privacy. The pools were awesome, the house was open and spacious, and the beach itself was great. The ocean outside of the beach wasn\'t ideal for swimming for the kids, but we did snorkel and take kayaks out daily. This was the perfect set up for adults who wanted to have a luxurious trip, and for kids who needed entertainment throughout the day. Also, the two entertainment centers came in handy when the kids would get tired of the sun! The house manager was also very helpful for all of our needs. Strongly recommend this Villa.

All That and More!!

This property is all that and more, the bedrooms were amazing, and the casitas were perfect for overflow. We had two chefs for two dinners during the week, the chefs were impressed with the kitchen to prepare dinner. The pool and hot tub were a perfect plus! the beach being right in our back yard made it for great Sunrises, and evening sunsets! We did have a few concerns nothing major, but one call to property managers and they were quick to help us. We will certainly consider this home again! Amazing!

FULL REVIEW!

Villa Mora is amazing, you won't be disappointed. There's plenty of space, we had 11 adults and 6 children. Just look at the pictures, it's pretty much all you need to know-- it is as described. This review is meant to be more informative to help you decide. Location: south side is really a nice spot. a bit out of the way of Georgetown and 7MB but still close enough to get to any part of the island easily. Close to the airport. There is a grocery store and a couple of good restaurants 1.5 miles east, and a good snorkel spot 1.5 miles west (Smith's Barcadere). Some of us rented a car, I just kept a couple of taxi numbers handy… they answer text or phone and show up pretty quick when you ring. Georgetown is about 3.5-4 miles away, and 7MB just above that. Do not want to go to Georgetown when the cruise ships come in. (Though the flip side is a lot of the stores close when there are no cruise ships, but the restaurants were still open and not crowded.) If you take a cab or drive up to 7MB we like Governor’s Beach with public parking and never too crowded and just below that is the Westin where you can parasail or jet ski. Regarding the villa beach, we were very worried about sargassum. I can’t speak to other months but at the end of June it was a non-issue for us. The entire east side of the island had lots of sargassum. The beach at Villa Mora is fine, it’s not great for snorkeling as mentioned on the website. It’s shallow out to about ½ mile off shore where the reef is. Once you get past that it drops down to about 12-15 feet and this would be good snorkeling. We did rent a couple kayaks and paddleboards for the week and that was a fun way to spend time on the water and get out to the reef. Rush hour is a big deal. You do not want to go north towards Georgetown/7MB from about 7-9am, or east towards the grocery store from about 4-6pm. Bumper to bumper traffic. Other times, minimal traffic.

Worth the Wait

We were a party of 9 who pursued this property for 3 years because of Covid. It was well worth the wait. The Villa setting is stunning, and the accommodations superb. On arrival, the spa was not working, but the property manager arranged for a quick fix - even though it was a local holiday. Have no hesitation about renting this one!

Beautiful house on amazing reef

We had a large family gathering at Villa Mora and the property worked very well for us. The outside space is gorgeous with a large pool, hot tub, plenty of seating and a lovely beach. The ocean outside the property has a lot of rocks, seagrass and coral so hard to walk out but we kayaked out closer to the reef and jumped in and saw amazing wildlife - turtle, ray, many fish and even a nurse shark. The water was warm and fairly shallow but there was quite a strong current so beware. Inside the property, there are many bedrooms and spaces for adults and kids, so that worked nicely. All in all, a great property on a really interesting part of the island.

Grand Vacation

We were thrilled with Villa Mora for our party of 16 in 4 families. The layout of house meant that we could group children and families so everyone was happy. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, glasses and pots and pans. We asked to borrow a Nespresso machine and that was acquired for our time there. The beach and pool were huge hits! Great extended family home

Villa Mora is a beautiful house with lots of space for a large family gathering. It is very private and we never tired of the view. The only thing missing is a fire pit but we made great use of the outside kitchen. The home was comfortable and not too “stuffy”. The pool was put to great use by all. Penni, the property manager, was extremely responsive to any questions. Our concierge made several reservations for us that were all wonderful. We have rented Villas before and we all agreed that this location was so convenient to shopping, dining and exploring. A great place to stay!

Our trip to Grand Cayman was a Christmas gift we gave to our children, their spouses and grandchildren. We were 10 total. What a great venue for all of us. The main living area provided views of the pool, cabana, and private beach through the ceiling to floor sliding glass doors! It was breathtaking! There was plenty of space for all of us to gather inside or out, and plenty of room to simply find a quiet area to relax, read or catch up one on one, We had the most wonderful time. Second time around

We spent a week last February at Vila Mora. That was our second time staying there and we very much enjoyed the upgrades from the previous year. The new outdoor kitchen was fantastic and we enjoyed many evenings cooking, dining and relaxing out there. The additional bedroom on the first floor was great for us as we had three generations along for the vacation! We love it there! Close to Georgetown but away from the traffic when you want to enjoy the peace and quiet of South Sound. We will be back in February 2019 for our third time! Can\'t wait!

Breathtaking Home

This place blew our minds when we first walked in. The openness to the exterior is breathtaking honestly. We spent most of our days lounging by the pool. The only problem is that the house is so nice you don\'t want to leave!! The best part of our trip was by far the snorkel charter. We had the best time with George! We mainly cooked on our trip (the grocery store is super close) but the few times we did go out we fell in love with the Czech Inn Grill in the East End! While many parts of the island were inundated with sargassum seaweed, Villa Mora was spared for the most part. 7 Mile beach as well. Our Favorite Vacation

This marks our favorite villa we have ever rented. The home is huge and the views better than anywhere we have been in the caribbean. We chose this home based on other guest reviews, talking with Grand Cayman Villas and we could not have been happier with our choice! The home is obviously well taken care of by the owners and it shows. The pool - well that may be the gem of the property! At least 75 feet long. Couple in the group did laps daily. kayaking is nice though you will need pool shoes on in the water and best to go out 100 feet where the water is deeper. Local restaurants were wonderful - Grand Old House, The Wharf, Agua were favorites. Checken! Chicken! for lunch. We rented a van from marshalls and ventured around the island. It is a small island - tough to get lost. The road hugs the coastline for the most part. Took us a day to figure out, but speed limits are posted in MPH. Visit the blow holes, Botanic Gardens, 7 MileBeach, Hell, Rum Point. Best activity was a private charter to the stingrays through George at Silver Thatch Charters. All in all a perfect trip.

Perfect Villa and View

After much anguish deciding on a property for our winter trip away from the cold, we settled on Villa Mora. We made the right choice, and would highly recommend this home to others as well! The main home has some much room we never felt cramped at all. The bedrooms were all large and comfy, living area enormous, kitchen well stocked. The guesthouse was nice for some of us to get some morning sleeping in!!! Views are phenomenal. Location is convenient to a dozen restaurants, bars, grocery, 7 mile beach, shopping, fish market, Smith Cove, airport, everything. Wee are hoping to make a return trip soon!

Fabulous Vacation Estate

After several years of vacationing in the Caribbean islands, we found that Villa Mora will give you everything to enjoy a great vacation.  The home is well cared for by the owner and property manager.  The accommodations were as pictured/advertised and comfortable.  Yes, every vacation home has issues, but the villa only has a few of them and they will not impact your positive experience staying at the estate.

This home is centrally located in a nicely manicured residential area (grocery stores 5 min away, and the Seven Mile Beach area is very close).  Communication with the rental company, Grand Cayman Villas, and the property manager is seamless and there is always someone that cares about your vacation experience.  We used the cleaning service mid-week, coordinated with the property manager.  The décor of the home was contemporary and we loved the elephant!!

Overall the vacation experience at Villa Mora was wonderful and we were sad to leave at the end of the week. Maybe next year...

Best Friendcation Ever!

Why can I say?  It's not everyday 9 people can go on vacation together and all have a good time...well it happened at Villa Mora.  A perfect house with great amenities to accommodate a lot of couples.  Every room was a master suite and they all had great views of the ocean.

It didn't matter though b/c we were having too much fun hanging out together in the main living areas that had equally amazing views or the pool.  We were determined to go out in the ocean despite the sea grass in the shallow areas but we read reviews before that recommended water shoes and we all brought them.  I also purchased a 6 man Island raft to take us out past the grass which made for some really funny adventures out to the "crystal blue water".

We hired Remy Azavedo from Rent-A-Chef to come cook us an amazing reef & beef dinner on our first night which we enjoyed at the outdoor dining table watching the sunset.  We also rented a boat through Silver Thatch Charter and George was our amazing captain who took us on a private tour to stingray city (A MUST) and snorkeling.

We had so much fun at the house we didn't do much else.  We did venture down to the Ritz for lunch one day and cocktails and lunch another at the Kipton which both have great views on 7 mile beach. It's easy to get cabs but it does add up if you need to get out a lot. 

One thing to add is how nice everyone on the Island is.  You really feel safe no matter where you are.  My recommendations: go out to the crystal blue water off the beach at the house, have a dance party in the living room, and bring a group of friends that you want to have lasting memories with.

Villa Mora was excellent !!!!!!!

We stayed a week with our families and we got married on the property, it was beautiful, the house has everything you need. Lots of room for everyone. Pool and the Jacuzzi were great, we didn't use the beach area much but it was beautiful.

The house and location live up to the photos! The home and guest house layout is a little odd, but eleven of us managed just fine for our 8 day stay. The main living area and back yard/view are stellar! There was space for all of us to lounge comfortably indoors and outdoors. The property manager was very responsive to our calls (for extra house keys, early check in, etc.). Quick drive to grocery, liquor store (east) or Georgetown (northwest). The water off the beach is very shallow with a large expanse of sea grass, but if you go out past that, there are some nice reef formations well inside the breakers. There is a little current west-to-east, but nothing that this non-athletic snorkeler couldn't handle. Don't bother trying to walk out to any depth - just put on your fins on the beach, and slide into the water.

While Grand Cayman is only 22 miles wide some guests prefer to be closer to Georgetown and Seven Mile Beach for day trips. Villa Mora is only 5-10 minutes from George Town and the beaches on the west coast of the island.

The villa enjoys a sandy beach area, however, guests need to be mindful that this is a marine area with a coral reef and wading in the water will require hard-soled pool shoes or fins. 

This is not the perfect barefoot beach for swimming. It is a marine environment and is protected. One can walk either way on the beach and barely see a soul. This is a residential neighborhood and not a tourist area.

The south of the island usually enjoys a pleasant gentle breeze that keeps any insects at bay and obviates the need for a screened porch. 

Driving west of the house will take you towards George Town and there is a very nice spot called Smith Cove with barefoot swimming and snorkeling. Dart Beach is also there as well and open to the public.

For more barefoot swimming on Seven Mile Beach, you can swim at Royal Palms, Governor's Beach, Tiki Beach near the Kimpton, and Cemetery Reef. 

Nice beach with amazing views. Excellent snorkeling out at the reef.  Shallow water with sea grass entry. Nice for kayaking and paddle boarding. Swimmable once the water is deep enough.

General Grand Cayman Beach Notes

All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically public since the Crown owns up to the high water mark.

The shoreline quality behind your property may vary slightly from the images on our website due to shifting tides and weather patterns. The next-door beach is also always available for your use.

Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed

Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally.

Sargassum is a generally harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency over the years during the summer. Our owners do make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked prior to your arrival. 

Should sargassum weed be extremely heavy behind your property, we will reach out to the owner for alternative solutions which may include a partial refund or relocation.

Lower Occupancy Discounts

Owner offers lower rates for fewer guests:

  • Groups of 10 or fewer guests, not requiring the 2-bedroom guest cottage over non-holiday nights, receive a $300 discount off the daily rate. 
  • The guest cottage will be locked off for the duration of your stay.

Occupancy Discounts are automatically applied against the full base rent when entering your dates and number of guests.  

Booking Rules

  • 5 nights minimum stay required.
  • 6 nights minimum and full occupancy required over Thanksgiving week.
  • 7 nights minimum and full occupancy required over Christmas and New Year's week.
  • Christmas & New Year's dates are split into two rental periods. Please inquire with your travel dates prior to booking.
  • Shorter stays may be available but subject to a higher cleaning fee. Please inquire before booking.
  • Must be 25 years or older to book and must occupy the property during the entire stay.

Villa Cleaning & Sanitation

All villas are cleaned and sanitized prior to each guest's arrival. We also ask our owners to provide a starter supply of extra cleaning products.

Additional housekeeping services can be purchased after booking in 3-hour time blocks. Scheduling may be coordinated with your property manager upon arrival.
