Seaside Dreams is a beautiful, newly renovated villa with modern yet comfortable furnishings. 


This lovely villa overlooks the clear waters of the Bioluminescent Bay in the idyllic Rum Point and Cayman Kai community. This location is worlds away from the hustle and bustle of Seven Mile Beach and offers enchanting vistas, secluded beaches, and numerous amenities. 


The ground floor features an open-concept design that allows the living and dining areas to flow into one. The fully equipped kitchen houses stainless steel appliances and a wine fridge. The true focal point of the home is the spacious two-story screened lanai facing the turquoise sea that offers additional lounge seating and alfresco dining.


A large swimming pool with a sundeck is located on the water for guests of the complex to enjoy! For adventure seekers, Seaside Dreams offers two tandem kayaks and two bicycles complimentary with your stay.

Perfect Property For Two Couples

Perfect property for two couples to get away and hang out. Just enough space for us. The staff was super helpful and everything happened just as we expected with grocery delivery and some extra paddle boards to enjoy while we were there. We went during the off season and it was very quiet which was perfect. Peaceful mornings on the bio bay and peaceful afternoons on the beach at Rum Pointe. The restaurant at Rum Pointe was good and we highly recommend Tukkas on the East End of the island.

Amazing place to stay !!

If you\'re looking for a place to stay in Rum Point or on the East End of the Island, away from the bursting life of Georgetown, look no further. This amazing Villa got everything you need, it\'s clean, well maintained, full of amenities, very relaxing and quiet at night and the beds are very comfy too. The bikes and kayaks are a big plus as we use them a lot. Property manager were there for us when we needed them. The swimming pool was great too as we had it almost for ourself cause we were in the off season. Me and my family had our best dream vacations ever at this Villa. Don\'t Hesitate to rent it, you will not be disappointed. - Thank you 🙂 -

Awesome Adventure!

Awesome adventure with the kids! Lots of outdoor activities at your fingertips. Kids would wake up and hit the kayaks. Then we would go hold starfish at a beach 1 mile away. Nice new pavilion is being built at Rum point which you can walk to(200 yards from back porch). Keep in mind the whiter sand/turquoise water is on the other side of the islands in the hotel district. It is an hour drive. This side of the island is much nicer and cooking some of our meals saved a LOT of $.

Quiet, But Lots to Do

We had a nice relaxing stay at Seaside Dreams. The host was super responsive and helpful when asking questions. We really enjoyed that part of the island as it was quiet but still central enough to explore. We loved starfish point. Would definitely go back!

Seaside Dreamy!

This place was perfect, just as the pictures and description described. Super clean, not a single thing wrong with the place. Located right on Bioluminescent Bay was an added bonus, kayaking on it at night was spectacular. Quick walk across the street to Rum Point beach with a bar, never had a problem getting a chair even on the weekend, beautiful setting. Only down side was there were no food and drinks available there after 6pm, and there are not many restaurants in the area. Not a big problem, we drove to find others, and was definitely preferable for relaxing as opposed to being in the hustle and bustle of the 7 Mile Beach area. Would definitely stay here again.

The Rum Point Club Resort has a dinner restaurant/bar. Kaibo has a dinner restaurant/bar. The Rum Point restaurant restaurant/bar will reopen in June. All three are walking distance.

Beautiful Vacation! Just as described! No regrets!

Our family of 5 have loved every minute of staying here. We have loved the laid back feel of Rum Point and have cherished every moment together. This area is a piece of paradise. Being right on the Biobay has been amazing as we have loved going out every night to take in this awesome experience. The beach at Rum Point is a 3 minute walk away but have the bay, sand, and palm trees all in your backyard give you the feel of being right on the beach anyway. We love it here and hope to come back one day!

Loved It!

Absolutely loved this property! So quiet and gave off the beach vibes we were looking for. It was just a short walk to the pool and Rum Point Beach. Great amenities were included like the kayaks and sand toys for our kids. The only two small issues we had were finding the house at night since we didn’t have reliable GPS. The other issue was finding the keys to get to the outside shed with the kayak paddles. After some snooping around we eventually found them. Super minor things. So happy we stayed here!

Great Location

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was clean, the kitchen was fully stocked. Location is great on the bay and walking distance to the ocean. Property manager was very helpful and responsive. Only downside was there were only 2 restaurants open on this side of the island. But plenty of options across the top of the island and in the East End.

Wow!!! A true dream!

When we booked the villa, the pictures were so nice that we really thought that we were going to be disappointed once arrived….it was too good to be true….well it was even more beautiful and perfect than expected once there. We had the perfect quiet week that we wanted. We used the two kayaks available on the property almost every day! It was so much fun. The property was very clean (and usually I disinfect everything and I didn’t this Trip). A lot of amenities available that were really appreciated (BBQ and we borrowed the Bluetooth and snorkelling gears from the guest services). So well decorated too….everything that we need was there! Thanks again….we will definitely come back for another week soon.

Great Property and Location

This property was amazing. We didn\'t realize we were traveling during the off season, so we were surprised to find ourselves quite alone in Rum Point. But we loved the privacy - had the Bioluminescent bay and the pool all to ourselves. And took advantage of morning trips to Starfish Point before the boats arrived. It was like having our own private beach. The property itself was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Seems like they thought of everything including blankets to be cozy while watching TV. We loved the screened porch for morning coffee and afternoon naps. The kayaks included was a huge plus - we used them several times both during the day and at night. I can\'t say enough good things. Property management was extremely responsive both before and during our stay.. We will definitely look to come back.

Fantastic family beach vacation!

Seaside Dreams was a lovely place for our family of four to spend our first post-COVID vacation. The property is well-equipped, very clean, and has lovely views of the lagoon out the back door. Silver Thatch rentals are great to work with--we had kayaks, bicycles, and the option to charter a snorkeling trip and Stingray City visit, which we would highly recommend. The management was very responsive and welcoming. We could not have asked for a better stay. Depending on your arrival time, you might want to take advantage of a grocery delivery service (book well in advance), so that you have something in the refrigerator. We found a great local store nearby (Chisolm\'s Grocery) that we used, but the delivery at least for the first day, would\'ve been convenient. We would recommend the property to anyone looking for a private, relaxing family vacation.

Enjoyed our Trip

Seaside Dreams is a beautiful, modern, clean condo with all the conveniences of home. We made use of the kayaks on the lovely lagoon, and enjoyed the restaurants in the Rum Point/ North Side area. Silver Thatch is a great management company. Highly recommend them. Also recommend the charters for snorkeling and visiting the stingrays. Great experience! Be advised that you are a 45-50 minute drive from many tourist attractions, but you are also in a quiet, very local area that gives you a feel for the community and culture. Really enjoyed our trip.

Paradise

This house was in a group around a small bay. The grounds were kept beautifully, raked and trimmed regularly. The house is also updated and well kept. We stayed for 6 weeks, everything we needed for cooking etc was in place…in fact, the best supplied of any rental we have done. The furniture was quite comfortable and attractive. The large screened in 2 story lanai was stunning, and we ate every meal out there on the large dining table. We pretty much lived on the lanai, comfortable with fans on hot buggy days; on windy or not so nice days we enjoyed the chaises and chairs. This group of privately owned homes is extremely well run. The manager of the house was very responsive. A hole in the screen was fixed the day we reported it. Some of the houses are rented, some are owner occupied by welcoming and friendly people. A small pool area was well kept and convenient. Because Rum Point was closed due to pandemic there were limited dining options…Kaibo Beach was nice and close. However, we did drive to a number of very good restaurants. We love to snorkel, and the Rum Point beaches were of course open and terrific with coral gardens and fish. It is a very short walk across the street. We particularly enjoyed Smith Cove and Eden Rock for snorkeling, although they are 40 minute drive. While we very much enjoyed the peace and quiet and beauty of the Cayman Kai area, it entails a lot of driving if you are staying a longer time and interested in seeing more places. Supermarkets are very good, but again, a half hour or more drive. There is a small local food store. If you arrive on a weekend, stores/markets are closed on Sunday, so plan accordingly. The island itself is lush and gorgeous, beautiful houses, excellent roads. The residents and service providers were all very nice and helpful. Would definitely return!

Great Location

This property was great for our family of 4 (including children 9 and 5). Our kids enjoyed finding shells and crabs on the beach on the bay, the moonless bioluminescent kayak trips were such a wonder, and the closeness to Rum Point was great for our trip. The property was well equipped, clean, and as great as it looks in the pictures.

Will Not Disappoint!

The townhouse was exactly as advertised- pictures are spot on. Beautiful modern decor, well furnished and appointed (inside - well stock kitchen and great linens and out- kayaks, bikegrill, chairs, and other other toys). The setting on a beach on the incredible bioluminescent bay. My kids spent hours playing on the sand or kayaking out at night to see the bioluminescence (truly remarkable). We have our own beach house back in the states, so our standards are very high. Seasides Dreams did not disappoint, We will definitely be back!

These nine clusters of 2-story townhomes sit staggered along the water's edge with a shared community freshwater pool overlooking the island's Bioluminescent Bay. 

Famous for its glowing nighttime waters, Bio Bay is a phenomenon not to be missed especially on moonless nights. Explore at your own pace or book a guided tour with our friends at Cayman Kayaks and Sweet Spot Watersports. 

While Bio Bay is ideal for kayaking and paddleboarding, it is not ideal for swimming due to its soft muddy bottom. For a barefoot beach experience with great food and tropical drinks, head across the street to the new Rum Point Club.

Beachfront Dining

Fully renovated and reopened to the public, the new Rum Point Club offers a spectacular barefoot beach experience with vibrant snorkeling, watersport rentals, plus a new restaurant, and an open-air beach bar.

Another dining destination in the neighborhood is the Kaibo. A favorite among locals, the Kaibo consists of a coffee shop and two restaurants, a casual beach bar and grill, and a fine dining restaurant. Live music, beach barbecues, and full moon parties are highlights at Kaibo. 

General Grand Cayman Beach Notes

All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically public since the Crown owns up to the high water mark. The shoreline quality behind your property may vary seasonally from the images shown due to shifting tides and weather patterns. The next-door beach is always available for your use.

Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed

Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum seasonally. Sargassum is a harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency in recent years. 

Sargassum RARELY is an issue at the Island Houses.

Booking Rules

  • 5 nights minimum stay required.
  • 6 nights minimum required over Thanksgiving week.
  • 7 nights minimum and full occupancy required over Christmas and New Year's week.
  • Christmas & New Year's dates are split into two rental periods. Please inquire with your travel dates prior to booking.
  • Shorter stays may be available but subject to a higher cleaning fee. Please inquire before booking.
  • Must be 25 years or older to book and must occupy the property during the entire stay.

Villa Cleaning & Sanitation

All villas are cleaned and sanitized prior to each guest's arrival using health agency-approved cleaners and disinfectants. We also ask our owners to provide a starter supply of extra cleaning products.

Additional housekeeping services can be purchased after booking in 3-hour time blocks. Scheduling may be coordinated with your property manager upon arrival.
