Sea Cove is a newly renovated waterfront home within the exclusive Cayman Kai community near Rum Point.
This home features a gorgeous oceanfront screened porch and sundeck, along with a private dock for rented boats or jet skis.
Nestled on a white sandy beach, Sea Cove is perfect for children looking to play in the sand, or just long afternoons spent lounging by the water.
Both the Rum Point Club and the Kaibo Marina are just a short walk away. Guests can pop out for watersport activities, day trips to Camana Bay, drinks and lunch on the beach, or a gourmet dinner.

The Perfect Stay!

We absolutely loved our stay! It was the perfect stay in the best location. We rented paddle boards for the week and explored from the house everyday. We were able to see starfish and stingrays right off the beach across the bay from the house! We also rented a boat for the day and snorkeled/swam with the rays(good luck kisses!). Kaibo, Over the Edge, and the Caboose were our favorite restaurants; we had the best food at the Caboose! Thank you for allowing us to stay at the house and being the vessel for so many amazing memories! Until next time!

Had a Blast

We had a fantastic time! Very quiet and peaceful. The layout of the home was perfect for 3 couples, or a family to stay in and still maintain privacy and have their own space, if desired. The kitchen was well stocked with every tool needed to cook a great meal. The private lot in the Bioluminescence Cove was perfect for taking the kayak out and seeing the glow of the water. Just a short kayak ride further you can visit Starfish Point. It’s super easy to get to. The Marina was less that 5 min away, making it very convenient to get on a charter to go see Stingray City. Grand Cayman Villas was very responsive on any inquiries we had. The property manager did a great job on filling us in on the local places to go and grocery stores for supplies. Big shout out to Silver Thatch for the discount card and local recommendations. Overall: great place with a great team running it. We had a blast!

We had a great week staying at Sea Cove! The views were great and the place was the perfect size. We loved the beds/bedding- so comfortable. We also loved the location with our own beach in the backyard. Would definitely recommend renting a car- we were able to drive all around the island and explore a ton. The listing was just as described and would love to come back!

Home Away from Home...Magical

Sea Cove provided the perfect escape for our family. The moment we walked into the house, we were overwhelmed with happiness. The house, beach, everything exceeded our expectations. We took photos of the starfish and kissed the stingrays at Stingray Sandbar... We walked, paddle boarded and loved every minute of every adventure. Lifetime of Memories

We are a family of four and brought our daughter\'s boyfriend with us. We love the water so this was our dream trip after being Florida bound over Covid. We enjoyed Rum Point, Starfish Point, Kaibo. We also chartered a boat and went to the stingrays and snorkeling spots off shore. Absolute must do and a highlight of our trip. Over the Edge restaurant has an amazing view and good food. Kaibo BBQ, lunches and coffee shop were wonderful. The bioluminescence in the water is fantastic at night.

Above and beyond

We stayed at SeaCove for 9 days and do not have a single negative thing to say except we wish we could have stayed longer. The villa was beautiful, well stocked, quiet and in a great location - the online pictures do not do it justice.
The support staff went above and beyond. We have used GC Villas in the past a few times and have never had an issue. This trip due to a winter storm, our flights were cancelled going home so we needed a place to stay. The people at GC Villas, Jim/Ran/Scott/Penny, could not have been more accommodating and helpful. They always responded to emails within minutes and allowed us to stay the few extra days. Work was being done on a nearby waterline in RumPoint and Penny the property manager also stopped by to make sure we were not affected. Silver Thatch had our kayaks and paddle boards ready to go before we arrived.
Hopefully we get the chance to stay at SeaCove again and we will absolutely use Grand Cayman Villas in the future.

Great Place

This was our third stay at Sea Cove. It was recently refurnished, and the house is clean and cozy. The location is great for us. Very quiet and serene with a beautiful view of the bay and within walking distance of Rum Point and Kaibo Marina. We visited Upstairs at Kaibo Marina for dinner a couple of times for their chef tasting menu and it was fantastic though a bit pricy. You can do as much, or as little as you want there. The screen porch was our favorite place to hang out and we spent a lot of time there.

Beauty!

Beautiful home in a lovely spot which is perfect for a romantic getaway – best sunset views! Even better in person than in photos. Very quiet and secluded part of Grand Cayman however also only a 5 min drive to one of the nicest beach bar/restaurants on the island. Booking process was easy with great communication and resources provided by the host, and check-in was smooth and convenient. House is clean, comfortable and equipped with everything you might need. Speedy wifi for WFH.

Sea Cove is a beautiful home and we very much enjoyed our 18 day stay there. I believe that it is one of the older houses in the area with a fabulous view over Bioluminescent Bay to wake up to on a fine day. We were unlucky in having a fair few days of stormy weather but enjoyed sitting on the decking and swimming off the jetty when it was fine, though we were disappointed not to have any cushions for the loungers delivered as had been promised at the start of our stay! To give a proper critical appraisal I would also have to mention a few electrical issues. There were 2 lamps that need replacing as the switches are broken and possibly dangerous and the steam iron also needs replacing as it was leaking water. This too was promised but did not arrive. The airconditioning system is an old one and slow to respond to temperature changes. That all being said, overall we thoroughly enjoyed a much needed break at Sea Cove with the many spaces to sit and relax, including the netted patio area where we enjoyed breakfast most mornings. Rum Point was peaceful and quiet and we enjoyed walking round the area, to Star Fish Point and also a dinner at the Yacht Club.

Dive Vacation
by ThomasStayed 4 nights at Sea Cove for a Cayman dive vacation. This is a very nice 2BR 2 bath villa! It was spotlessly cleaned and even shined upon entry. The private beach area was freshly raked and two water basins already put out for washing sand off our feet. The exterior appeared to be recently painted and the screened porch was in very good shape. The bedroom upstairs is a king bed with two sinks and a giant double shower. The bottom floor bedroom is a queen with the full bath with access from the hall. Plenty of storage and closets. In addition to two folding cots (with mattresses) that are stored in the closets, the second living room is easily converted into a 3rd private bedroom (with doors) with a pull out sleeper sofa. All the necessary kitchens needs are there and there is an abundance of beach towels, linen, and sheets. The furniture is clean and in good condition and the glass dining table inside can seat 8 people. The location is great – you are directly on the calm of BioLuminescent Bay and there was an available double kayak to use on our beach. Starfish Point is minutes away. The Kaibo Yacht Club (upstairs highly recommended and so nice!) and Rum Point restaurants are within 2 minutes drive, each with lunch and dinner options. We noticed one previous review mentioned the deck was rotted with dangerous nails heads poking up – it’s not really the case, the wood is all in fine condition with some limited and expected warping (does not need replacement) and there were a few areas with raised nail heads. It was hot enough that you needed sandals anyway and this is fairly typical of salt air wood deck conditions. A few minutes with a hammer will fix it easily. Did not have any bug problems, kept food well sealed. Highly recommended – we had a great time!

Just the best location on the island bar none. Beautiful, private beach between kaibo beach and rum point. House is equipped with all you need. Snorkeling gear included was a plus. Management was quick to reply with any needs. Hope to be back again soon!

Wonderful Place!

We loved the house, loved the location. Being right on the cove gave us the advantage of magnificent sunsets (truly some of the best I\'ve seen) and being able to jump in the water from the back beach, a bioluminescent bay!! Kids loved it. OK, for the suggestions: bikes!! Rum Point is a place to its own with plenty to do without leaving. But, the restaurants and beaches were a bit of a walk. Once, twice, OK, but trekking the distance every day, sometime 3-4 times a day, got a bit much. You could rent a car, but having a car if you are intent on staying in Rum Point is waste IMHO. That said, you need to get your groceries in order before you arrive on or your way to the house (50 min. drive from the airport). I would not hesitate to return to this property.

Lovely Setting and Great Location!

Great location for Rum Point access. Very quiet and private. House was nice and clean and beach area was as described with great sunsets and water access. Third sleeping area with pullout sofa needs a new sleeper sofa, as the old one was not acceptable to sleep on with any comfort. Managers are aware and are working to provide a new one. This is a great location and good value for the price. Just have many minor maintenance issues that are being addressed by the property manager. Guest feedback always helps the owners know what to fix or update, since they do not live there full time. Our family loved the location and ease of getting to the Rum Point Club or Kaibo\'s for dinner.

Beautiful Weather, Beautiful Home

We just returned from our annual summer vacation. While this is our first trip to Grand Cayman, it will not be our last. Coming from North Carolina, we had a direct flight from Charlotte and the rest of the trip went off without a hitch. We worried about driving on the left, but that was very easy, especially once we were out of town. The area where the home is located is private and residential with no traffic. This was a well thought out development on this part of the island.
The home was fantastic. Plenty of room for a family of 6 with the converted third bedroom. Even still we never felt cramped at all. I would recommend this home to any family of 6! The location of the home is excellent. The sunset views are inspiring! The bio cove the home is on is quiet and people kayak at night with bioluminescent GLOWING micro organisms. Trips to Stingray City are a must. Mudslide drinks at Rum Point and Kaibo are wonderful!Cant say enough good things. Now back to work so we can plan another trip to Sea Cove next year!!!!

Sea Cove - So Special

This is our second time at Sea Cove and there will be a third! We just love the location. We are water sports nuts and enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding, water sports rentals at Rum Point, trips to Stingray City, long quiet walks, Rest and relaxation away from a hectic work schedule.

Lovely Home

We enjoyed our stay at Sea Cove. Our family of 5 loved the home, the beach, the fantastic views, the proximity to Rum Point, Starfish Point and the Kaibo (all walking distances). We also took a private trit with White Sand Water Sports to Stingray City Sandbar - an absolute must trip!!!
The managers were attentive to all questions during the booking process and we had no issues while we were here, but the manager still checked in on us.
The Silver Thatch discount card really saved us money. Usually those things are smoke and mirrors, but not this card. Rum Point and White Sand both offered us discounts!!!!

Wonderful Family Time

We had a great family time vacation with our children at Sea Cove. The 3 kids loved the cove and walking to Rum Point to play with other children. The area was safe enough for the kids to walk there by themselves, although we were just a few minutes behind them. Kayaking in the cove was wonderful. We saw some people with paddle boards - that looked like fun and we will try that next time.
The home was well kept and clean. We only spoke with the manager one time when we asked about the drinking water, safe by the way, but she could not have been more friendly and actually told us several things to do, including the Crystal Caves that our kids loved!
Scott and Jim were wonderful to work with every step of the way. We will rent from them again and either come back here or to one of their other properties. 5 S T A R !!!!

Stunning View and Location

We have traveled throughout the Caribbean over the years and Sea Cove compares well with all of the places we have stayed. The home was large and comfortable with plenty of space for 4 adults ( 2 couples) that try to travel to a new place every year. We think we liked the island and location of Sea Cove so much that we will make a return trip before exploring other places. The people are friendly and the restaurants and local bars are wonderful. The island is small enough to explore easily. We were concerned about driving on the left hand side, but that proved to be a non-event as most of the island is a 2 lane road. Speed limits are posted in MPH - which took us a couple days to figure out... So many nice restaurants around on the quiet side of the island away from the crowds . We tried Tukka, The Italian Kitchen, Rum Point, Kaibo and several small local spots. Food was wonderful everywhere, but we especially enjoyed Tukka!
Hope this helps you plan. Not sure why there are not more reviews, but we sure loved Sea Cove and recommend this home to anyone!!!

Fantastic Home for Our Escape

We just returned from a wonderful trip to Grand Cayman and a wonderful stay at Sea Cove. The home was everything we wanted and more. The large living area was open and inviting. The furniture was comfortable and the bedrs were nice and firm. The Cayman Ki area is a wonderful family atmosphere and you can walk to two very nice dinner restaurants, bars, lunch areas, water sports, trips to stingray city, etc.
The management company also recommended starfish point which we walked to a couple times and highly recommend.
Thank you GCV for all of your help in planning. we will be back one day and hopefully stay here again!!!

Wonderful Villa! Perfect Location!

Our week in the Cayman was pretty much perfect and the biggest contributing factor was staying at Sea Cove. Location of the house is perfect. The views are incredible. The back deck and private beach are fantastic. The staff was wonderful. We had a little bit of an issue with one air conditioning unit when we first arrived and we called the house manager and it was immediately taken care of. She also checked in later on in the week just to make sure everything was going well. We rented a kayak and paddle boards that we could just walk right outside our house and use. The bioluminescent Bay is right there as is rum point beach and departure points for alot of the tours such as Stingray City. We worried a little bit about being so far from Seven Mile Beach but we were truly glad we chose to stay on the North Shore. It was so much more relaxing and not so touristy. The drive to Seven Mile is not bad at all so when you wanted to go down and go shopping or visit other beaches you could do that. Everything on the Caymans is pretty close so it was wonderful to have a little piece of heaven up on the North Shore. We will definitely rent this house again if we return to the Caymans again!

Great vacation!

There were 4 of us - 2 couples - and the house was great! There were many activities near the house and the 7 mile area is only a drive away. The beach was great, very secluded!

The entire island is only 22 miles wide from west to east, so you are never too far from anywhere on Grand Cayman.
The cove-front homes in Cayman Kai offer calm serene water for docking a rental boat, permitting charter boat pick-up, or just safe shallow water for little children to play in at water's edge.
Adults won’t want to swim in the cove. The water is shallow and has a soft muddy bottom. There is no reef here but we do see the occasional turtle, eagle ray, or tarpon swim by in the shallows. The white sand beach at Rum Point is available and open to the public for swimming.
General Grand Cayman Beach Notes
All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically “public” since the Crown owns up to the high water mark.
The shoreline behind your property may vary seasonally. Be advised, that the beach or water entry behind your property may vary slightly from the images on our website due to weather. The next-door beach is also always available for your use.
Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed
Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally. Sargassum is a generally harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency in recent years. Although sargassum is an unsightly nuisance, it is largely seasonal in summer. It is VERY RARE in the Cayman Kai cove.
Our owners do make efforts to remove sargassum and will have the beach raked prior to your arrival.

Booking Rules
- 5 nights minimum stay required year-round.
- 7 nights minimum are required over Christmas and New Year's week.
- Christmas & New Year's dates are split into two rental periods. Please inquire with your travel dates prior to booking.
- Shorter stays may be available but subject to a higher cleaning fee. Please inquire before booking.
- Must be 25 or older to book and must occupy the property during the entire stay.
Villa Cleaning & Sanitation
All villas are cleaned and sanitized prior to each guest's arrival. We also ask our owners to provide a starter supply of extra cleaning products.
Additional housekeeping services can be purchased after booking in 3-hour time blocks. Scheduling may be coordinated with your property manager upon arrival.
