Welcome to Present Moment, a villa on the outskirts of the Bodden Town beach that is the ideal retreat to create picture-perfect vacation memories with family and friends. 


This beautiful, spacious villa is directly on the beach with sweeping ocean views. The beach is both sandy and pebbly, so water entry requires water socks or pool shoes. Swimmers and snorkelers will find a sandy bottom less than 100 yards from shore. The snorkeling in this area is spectacular! 


After exploring the tropical sea life, rinse off using the outdoor shower before a refreshing dip into the fabulous infinity pool. A Baja shelf with submerged pool loungers will quickly become your favorite spot.


The villa’s pool deck also includes a heated spa to melt your worries away and raised oceanfront sun deck for that perfect tan. A tandem kayak is provided complimentary during your stay. 


Open and spacious living areas are furnished with contemporary furniture and modern decor. A wall of oceanfront windows provides gorgeous tropical views allowing natural light to flood the home. 


After a long day enjoying the island, sink into the comfy sectional sofa to watch a movie, read a novel, or play some family-fun board games. 


This single-story private residence can sleep up to 12 guests comfortably across four bedroom suites each with a private bath.

The formal indoor dining area allows seating for 10 at the table and 2 at the kitchen counter. For alfresco meals, the outdoor dining table seats 12.


The kitchen comes fully equipped with modern appliances and everything you need to whip up a quick lunch or home-cooked meal. The villa’s outdoor kitchen is a grill master’s paradise with a propane grill, warming drawers, prep area, sink, and ice maker. Fantastic Stay!

Our 5 day stay was fantastic. We were greeted with a very nice charcuterie board and Sonya to give us a quick tour of the house. The house was clean and very comfortable for our group of 8 adults (4 couples). The house had a lot of unexpected extra\'s like beach towels, chairs, umbrella and games. The pantry had sugar, salt, oil, coffee, tea and ect. The kitchen and bathroom offered everything we needed. The pool and hot tub overlooking the ocean instantly carry all your cares away. It is a lovely place to spend some time just relaxing. Sonya did a great job with communication, but one recommendation for the property management is that they do a rundown of the tv remotes since there were 5 remotes total. It took us a few hours to figure which one was needed. There were no cons really other than you are about 30 minutes from 7 mile beach were the good restaurants are. It never bothered us as there is a liquor store and grocery store just down the road. We love it! Thanks

Recommend Present Moment

The house was beautiful. We spent so much time playing in the pool. It was perfect for our group of 4 adults and two kids (toddler and infant). It is a good location in that it\'s in the middle of the island so it\'s about the same distance to everything. We had a rental car so this was not an issue. It\'s away from the resort area of 7 Mile beach so some places wont do food delivery there, but the full kitchen was great to cook family meals in as well as the bbq. The manager was very kind and responsive. We always felt safe and it was a very private property. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great Property

We loved this property! The views are spectacular!! It’s so so private and the shore had lots to explore with snorkeling and fishing right off the property. Plenty of room for all 10 of us. The kitchen was fully stocked. They had plenty of coffee, beach towels, cascade, Dawn, laundry detergent, etc.

Family Vacation

This house was perfect for our family from 63 to 20 months. The infinity pool with the kids shallow area & the hot tub worked great. The view was amazing. The ranch home was perfect for us (no stairs). And each bedroom had its own bathroom. The location was great for us because we wanted the privacy and the east side restaurants. Beautiful setting and quiet neighborhood.

Every Aspect of the Vacation Was Perfect!

Present Moment was an incredible home. We had 8 adults and three little ones under 7 and everyone had a great time. If we weren’t playing in the sand or ocean we were playing in the pool and every night ended with a soak in the hot tub. Every bedroom was spacious and had its own bathroom which was a huge deal to get everyone ready on time. The kitchen plus the grill outside had everything you could need to prepare any meal but we found the best food was the small hole in the wall local restaurants not more than 10 minutes away. Our host Sonya, greeted us when we arrived, and made sure we had everything we needed along the way, she was a super host. The people at SilverThatch were awesome as well answering questions before we got there and providing quality snorkeling gear for each of us. We also chartered our boat through Silver Thatch and it was everyones favorite part of the trip. Captain Warren was incredibly and had our 7 year old snorkeling with the adults in minutes.

Peaceful

Bodden Town doesn’t have much to but it’s not hard to get to the action of 7 mile and Rum Point. Villa was peaceful, beautiful site, pool and jacuzzi amazing. Great for a big family coming … we all were perfectly separated and didn’t feel on-top of each other. We had 4 small children and the bed situation was perfect. This villa has all the amenities you need with small children and for a peaceful vacation!

Present Moment! Spread the Word!

We loved the location of the property as it was away from the busy areas and yet it didn\'t take long to get to grocery stores, restaurants etc. Sonya, our property manager, was really fantastic to work with. She responded promptly to requests and was very kind. The house is clean, has all the amenities we were looking for - pool and hot tub and right on the beach. Great eating areas and each bedroom had its own bathroom. Also appreciate the washer and dryer. Would definitely stay here again!

Couldn\'t ask for a beeter vacation

From the moment we walked in to the home we felt welcomed and at ease. Everything was exactly as you see on the website. The property manager was waiting for us with a lovely food tray that was exactly what we needed after a long day of travel. Rooms were comfy, pool and hot tub were fantastic and everything was thought of. Couldn\'t ask for a better vacation. Location was also good. Far enough from the crowds in Georgetown but not too far from any area on the island.

Location, location, location

We booked this house for our family of 6 adults and 1 grandchild. The gorgeous one-level residence had a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and a spacious open floor plan common area that looked out over the fabulous pool area and ocean. We enjoyed being away from 7 mile beach and living among the locals. Grocery shopping and local restaurants were not far away at all, and we found ourselves spending most of our time in the phenomenal outdoor space that rivaled the indoors for size and comfort. Property management company went above and beyond: unloading and putting away our grocery delivery when our flights were delayed. Would highly recommend and would love to return.

This was a lovely home! Just what the family needed. The location is in a small neighborhood and a bit far from most things. This was our first time in Cayman so picking a location was in us. Love every minute

Our winter getaway was perfect staying at Present Moment. Great layout, extremely well equipped kitchen, best outdoor patio area with pool and hot tub and grill overlooking the beach. The charcuterie board was such a wonderful surprise and the property manager was quick to meet our questions. We loved every minute there- hope to be able to return one day!

Present Moment

We really enjoyed our stay at Present Moment. Plenty of space for everyone (we were a family of 5- 2 adults and 3 kids ages 12-17)- kids enjoyed having their own bedroom and bathroom. Was nice to have starter set of shampoo/conditioner/soap provided in each bathroom. Kitchen had everything we needed when we did cook. Property manager was great and very helpful. We especially appreciated the charcuterie board upon our arrival on Sunday since the grocery stores are closed on Sundays. House came with 6 beach chairs and an umbrella - great for daily beach trips

Amazing Rental

This rental, although pricey, was spectacular! It was centrally located on the island ... could reach either end within ~ 25-30 min. The villa itself was clean, up-to-date, and spacious! It had all the amenities of home, as well as a variety of pool/beach gear, including beach towels & chairs, small cooler, umbrella, beach toys, life jackets, floaties, sunscreen and bug spray. They even had a safe and computer for our use, as well as a security system, which helped us feel secure. In addition to the villa, the property manager, Jennifer, was fantastic! We had a couple of questions and she responded with lightening speed! The only caveat I have is, I would not rent this villa if you have young children, as there is no fence/protection around the pool. All in all, if you are looking for a beautiful, spacious, safe, quiet, fully furnished place to stay, I would enthusiastically recommend Present Moment!

Loved It!

Great property. Exactly like shown. Full amenities including beach towels,chairs,coolers, and float toys to make going to beach more fun. Soft sand beach at property but water is rocky and I swim able. But we loved watching the surf and sound of ocean and view of sunrise.

Very prompt repair service on small problem with air conditioner -and it was Sunday morning!

We would definitely recommend this to friends.

Great Vacation

This home was depicted accurately in description with amenities and photos. We rented through Cayman Villas in January 2020. It was perfect size for 8 adults. The beds were all comfortable. The kitchen was stocked well. We cooked in 2 of the nights. It is approximately a 25 min drive to seven mile beach but it is an easy drive. I would not consider the beach in front of the home a good area to swim. We did not attempt. There were 7 beach chairs and a cooler that we could take to the beach with us. They also provide beach towels. We contemplated staying near 7 mile - but this made us able to stay together in one unit and stay in our budget. We reached out to property manager once during our week (with a question- not a problem) and she responded immediately. In January we did not experience any mosquitos. It only rained on our arrival. It was very windy for 3 of our days. A tip: if it is windy - venture to another side of the island. When it was windy at the house, seven mile beach had no waves at all.

Centrally located, the homes in Bodden Town offer shore diving and snorkeling as well as protected beaches for kayaking. The beaches are mostly sand, but can also have some natural rock formations too.

Either way, with the varied marine life we have in the water, you will want to wear foot protection (pool shoes or fins). The beaches here offer great seashell collecting and turtle sightings in summer!

Bodden Town is only 20 minutes from town and 15 minutes from 2 large resorts in the east end, Morritt's and The Reef. Both offer manicured beaches as well as restaurants, a grocery store, liquor store, souvenir shops, and a cafe/pastry shop. These two resorts also offer scuba, snorkel trips, jet skis, windsurfing, kiteboarding, ocean-front pools, and bar service.  

Heading east, the South Coast restaurant is only 5 minutes away. Other casual restaurants are nearby. You are 25 minutes from the famous Rum Point Club & Kaibo with water sports, restaurants, beach bars, a gift shop, and a barefoot beach with table service.

General Grand Cayman Beach Notes

All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically public since the Crown owns up to the high water mark.

The shoreline quality behind your property may vary slightly from the images on our website due to shifting tides and weather patterns. The next-door beach is also always available for your use.

Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed

Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally.

Sargassum is a generally harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency over the years during the summer. Our owners do make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked prior to your arrival. 

Should sargassum weed be extremely heavy behind your property, we will reach out to the owner for alternative solutions which may include a partial refund or relocation.

Booking Rules

  • 5 nights minimum stay required.
  • 6 nights minimum are required over Thanksgiving week.
  • 7 nights minimum are required over Christmas and New Year's week.
  • Christmas & New Year's are split into two rental periods. Please inquire directly about your travel dates prior to booking.
  • Shorter stays may be available but subject to a higher cleaning fee. Please inquire before booking.
  • Must be 25 years or older to book and must occupy the property during the entire stay.

Villa Cleaning & Sanitation

All villas are cleaned and sanitized prior to each guest's arrival. We also ask our owners to provide a starter supply of extra cleaning products.

Additional housekeeping services can be purchased after booking in 3-hour time blocks. Scheduling may be coordinated with your property manager upon arrival.
