Welcome to KiToCay! This 3,000 sq. ft. home is located in the village of Old Man Bay on the island’s beautiful North Side. 


KiToCay boasts a panoramic oceanfront living area with spectacular views, plus an over-the-water deck with a tiled cabana. Many of our guests have compared the views and feel of this home with that of being on the bow of a cruise ship with the open ocean enveloping your senses from virtually every direction. 


KiToCay's interiors are just as impressive as any home on Grand Cayman. The open concept design, stylishly decorated with contemporary furniture and luxurious finishes, features an oceanfront living area furnished with a plush sectional sofa, flat-screen TV, and ocean views that will take your breath away.


The full gourmet kitchen is a vacationing chef's paradise. Equipped with top-of-the-line appliances—including double ovens, a gas range with grill top, and tons of counter space—guests can enjoy the comforts of a home-cooked meal away from home.


A small general store, Chisholm’s Grocery, is a quick 5-minute drive to the west to stock up on foods, snacks, and drinks. For dining out, guests can walk down the street to Over the Edge Restaurant and Bar for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.


Sleeping Arrangements
(Sleeps 5 adults/guests max.)



  • Master Suite: spans entire upper-level, king bed, ocean views, private walkout balcony, TV, desk, and ensuite bathroom with double vanity and glass shower (owner removed bathtub).

  • Guest Bedroom: lower level, queen bed, TV, shares hall bathroom with shower/tub combo.

  • Den: lower level, queen sleeper sofa, ceiling fan, shares adjacent hall bath.


Off the main level, the over-the-water deck provides access to the waters down below via a spiraling staircase. However, the best and safest way to enter the water will be from either of the sandy beach lots next door. 


The owner of KiToCay also owns the neighboring beach lots and maintains them with tropical landscaping providing a private beach retreat during your stay.


Dubbed Toki Beach, the east lot is furnished with a hammock ringed with palm trees for guests to enjoy seaside relaxation under the shade. Guests have used this beach to host small weddings, rehearsal dinners, and private events. 


The snorkeling here is incredible. The reef is about 100 yards straight out from the east lot, Toki Beach. We strongly advise snorkeling along the east of the boat channel which is clearly marked by two navigation poles. Snorkeling beyond the poles near the reef cut is risky! Powerful undercurrents can prove dangerous even for experienced snorkelers.


KiToCay appeals to small families, traveling couples, and honeymooners. Discount rates are available for smaller groups.

Such a refreshing, relaxing, wonderful retreat. The accommodations are so comfy and well-thought out, and views of the sea and sky are spectacular. We had calm glassy water our first days, and then crashing waves afterwards. It felt like being on a ship - in all the best ways. Favorite restaurants were Tukka East, Czech Inn and Kaibo Beacgh grille.

Incredible place

This place was amazing. The house is very beautiful and the deck was like a dream! It has a beautiful ocean view and a great place to relax or sunbathe. There is also a hammock in the lot on the right side of the house. The snorkeling off of the house was not mentioned very much but it really should have been because it was great. You have to be careful because it’s shallow, but that lets you see the coral and fish up close. The reef is alive and you can see many things. This snorkeling is 100 times better than Eden rock, and easily one of the best snorkeling locations of my trip. I liked the location somewhat away from really crowded areas and this side of the island is a good place to be when big cruises come. Also there is a little cafe and restaurant maybe 50 feet from the house. Inside the house is great too. The upstairs suite is very impressive(btw, the telescope doesn’t work ☹️). The deck is great for stargazing. The kitchen is fully stocked with every cooking item I could think of except a tea kettle, which is interesting. I had lots of fun making drinks in the different glasses provided. I slept in the den for my trip, and was worried about how that was going to work, but the host knew I was coming and put a little wardrobe for my clothes which I really appreciated. I also brought my yoga mat and enjoyed stretching in front of the large mirrors. Overall my stay was incredible and I would absolutely come again.

How Grand is Grand Cayman? Let me count the ways! Staying at picturesque Kito Cay was dreamy. It was gorgeous as well as comfortable. We spotted sting rays from the dock, full moon lit nights and more stars than you could count! Our go-to dining experience; Over the Edge and Eagle Rays. Beautiful location and villa. Would highly recommend....seaweed out front, but that is to be expected this time of year, so no worries about that. Villa is beautiful and well maintained. Over the Edge reastaurant next door is very good and Rum Point Beach is close by for sandy Beach swimming. Would not hesitate to rent here again!

Seashell Lovers Haven

This house is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures! We literally lived under the gazebo all week. I would recommend planning days to just exist here. It’s got a great breeze making the high temps very bearable. The north side of the island is still very relaxed and spread out, making it a quiet environment. Big perk: neighborhood bar/restaurant two doors down. Things to consider: rent a car or ask for Devorn’s contact info for private taxi service due to the distance out, visit Seven Mile Beach for sandy swimming, visit all the neighborhood bars and restaurants (several between here and Bodden Town), Crystal Caves is within walking distance (.5 miles) as is a small liquor store that looks locked but the buzzer will get you in. 🙂

We Must Have Dreamt This!

Perfect in every way! We loved being on the \"chill\" end of the island. Taking a couple of days to check out 7 Mile Beach and the Turtle Centre in West Bay, but otherwise enjoyed Rum Point (Kaibo Yacht Club for lunches, Starfish Point for swimming) and East End (Wyndam for cocktails, Tukka for dinner, eastern Star Bar & Fish Fry for lunch) and beach reading. Peaceful Vacation

This was our first trip to Grand Cayman. The north part of the island is very private, quiet, and calm. I\'d recommend this part of the island for those who want to get away from traffic, don\'t want people on top of you, and don\'t mind the drive from the airport. If you go to the north part, eat at Over the Edge (it\'s just next to this house) and visit Starfish Pointe. Very beautiful, calm water where you can see - and hold - many starfish! Our family loved it. This house is exactly as pictured and really lovely. The kitchen is large, open, and well stocked. We cooked every day (go to Chisholm\'s! they also deliver!). The master suite on the top floor is serene. With a family of 5 we had more than enough space for the week. The deck provides a beautiful setting to relax or get some sun. There\'s sandy lots next to the house where kids can find lizards and hermit crabs. We had a very peaceful vacation staying at KitoCay.

Magnificent and Stunning!!!

We still can’t believe that we got to stay at this MAGNIFICENT and STUNNING property to celebrate my 50th birthday! Having been to the island multiple times, this was our first private house experience and we will never stay anywhere else again! We tease that we are ruined! This house had every single thing you could have ever dreamed of having while on vacation! It was so secluded that we only had to see people if we wanted to! The private beach was seriously out of a movie! And to walk right into great snorkeling, was the absolute best! We’ve been married for 22 years and yet felt like honeymooners! A lifetime of memories! The staff was the best we have experienced in our travels all over the world! Thank you!!!! Ps: we even laugh that we miss our 545am rooster now that we are home! Best wake up for sunrise viewing you’ll ever find!

The Views!!!

I stayed at KiToCay with my parents for a wonderful week. The views from the deck and balcony were fabulous. We also rented a snorkel board to explore the water in front. Amazing snorkeling. Just be cautious of currents where the poles mark a cut in the reef. KiToCay is clean and spacious. Penni, our local manager, was very helpful with all of or our needs. Highly recommended and we hope to return!

Home away from Home

KitoCay lived up to all our expectations. The house was beautiful and very clean. It is nice to stay in a place that has all the little thing you need to have a pleasant stay. We didn't need to run out for toilet paper or some salt! The location is on the quiet side of the island which we were looking for. We enjoyed the ocean, watching the fish come and go literally under our feet on the patio that over hangs the water. The area is quiet and the neighbors are very friendly. It also very nice to know that there is professional staff near by to help if you need it and help with planning you activities - Silver Thatch Guest Services. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will probably return someday. We highly recommend the property to anyone looking to stay in the Caymans.

Beautiful Property and Very Close to Rum Point!

This is a great and beautiful property. Activities at Rum Point are very close. We snorkeled daily on the reef. Going out watch for boats, there aren't many. Also try to be out near high tide, it can get shallow, but so much to see for snorkelers. We love wildlife and say even fed some- lobsters, eel, fish, Ray\'s, puffers needle fish and more right AT the house. The house was very comfortable. The only down side was the spiral staircase. We didn't take luggage up. Enjoy, we would go back. Note it is 45 min. or so from George Town.

Beautiful, Quiet and Spacious Property

This was our third trip to Grand Cayman and we wanted to try a spot off of 7-mile beach. KiToCay was perfect for our family. It\'s a beautiful location, with amazing views of the water from nearly every room. There is plenty of room to find your own space when needed and the patio is fabulous. It\'s well equipped with everything you\'ll need for cooking. There was also snorkeling gear and beach towels. The water is too rough and the tides too strong to swim or snorkel from the beach/shoreline here, but there are lots of beaches within 15 minutes and 7-mile was only about a 40-45 minute drive. The only drawback was the spiral staircase, which was is a bit tricky to manage, especially with suitcases. It was nice to be able to walk to a restaurant – Over The Edge. The food was very good. We\'d definitely stay here again!

We have rented many homes over the years but this one is unique. Located on the shore of Old Man's Bay, a beautiful view awaits you from both the upper and lower levels. Exquisite designer details inside are accompanied by thoughtful touches, including even beach towels and snorkel gear. Gorgeous, spacious, luxurious

Very pleased, as was my family. Four of us (parents and two adult kids) each had our own room. One of the rooms is a quasi sitting room with large couch but it is a complete room with door. A second couple could have used the second bedroom. The property management team is superb as are the "Perk" of Silver Thatch down the street with equipment checkout and and nice gym. Kitchen is a dream kitchen for many and fully outfitted. Property Manger allowed local grocery to deliver and stock before we arrived. For what it is worth, I had not "grasped" the extent of what Silver Thatch offered. You guys all mentioned it plenty of times, but I just shrugged. Once we got there and saw the new facility, gym and equipment.... it all sunk in. Pam and her assistant Paula were wonderful. We had a grocery store stock the place before we arrived which was soooo the way to do it.... likely to see us again.

Spend your time on this balcony, NOT in traffic!

Our stay at KiToCay was perfect. Our family of four was amazed at the attention to detail, from the stunning balconies, to the gorgeous home design upgrades, to the supplies left for our use. We have been to Cayman before and had the opportunity to stay on Seven Mile. I strongly recommend this home to avoid the crowds. There are plenty of gorgeous beaches and cool beachfront restaurants all around the island to enjoy. We could not have been happier with the entire vacation.

Perfect place to relax

I stayed here with my extended family and it was absolute perfection. This house is literally *on* the water (the back deck extends out into the ocean). The beach is lovely, and the ocean area is good for snorkeling. The sunrise and sunset are incredible. It\'s a short walk to a restaurant / cafe, also on the ocean. For us, the daily routine was: kids play on the beach and parents relax above on the deck. Our favorites in the area were Kaibo and Tukka. Stingray City and other west-side favorites aren\'t far away (it\'s not a large island). All in all, great getaway spot.

Private & serene oasis!

This was surely a breathtaking home! The home literally sits on the beach, which means feeling like you\'re in paradise all day long. The spacious home is equipped with everything, from lounge chairs, towels, tanning lotion, kitchen utensils, pots/pans, fishing poles, laundry supplies, and most importantly...an entire collection of movies! Not even a block away from the restaurant/bar next door and maybe a 10 min drive to Rum Point beach. AMAZING ALL AROUND-WILL DEFINITELY RETURN!

Texas Hurricane Evacuees

Beautiful home with awesome ocean front views. Amazing snorkeling with reef right off the back deck. Walking distance to Over the Edge restaurant with great breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We were evacuees from Hurricane Harvey in Houston and had to miss the first 3 days of our rental due to flooding. Wish they could have offered some sort of refund or credit towards a future rental.

Unfortunately we could not refund as it was a situation coverable by insurance. We wish you could have accepted our offer for two extra nights at KiToCay during your stay. Glad to hear about the amazing snorkeling! We are happy to hear that you had a great time.

Our Cayman Trip

We have come to Grand Cayman for 4 years in a row. We have stayed at 4 different properties all on the northside away from crowds. We love the Rum Point area during the day and there are several excellent restaurants in the area as well - Over the Edge, Tukka, Lighthouse, Italian Kitchen, kaibo and Rum Point have all become favorites. Kitocay is by far our favorite and we will return next year to this home. The inside is true to the pictures and beautiful. Much larger feeling than the pictures suggest. The upstairs master is huge. There were only two of us, but next year we are bringing friends! Highly recommend Kitocay to all!!

A Real Get-A-Way

My husband and I prefer to stay in a location where 'attractions' are accessible, but where we're not in the middle of them. For that purpose, KiToCay was perfect. No matter how much driving around and exploring we did during the day, we always enjoyed returning to the quiet and privacy of KiToCay on Old Man Bay. Also, we've rented homes on many Caribbean islands, and KiToCay had everything to make a kitchen feel like a home, rather than a sparsely-equipped rental property. When we arrived, the cell phone didn't work and we couldn't get on Wi-Fi. Joan, at Over The Edge restaurant nearby, called Pam Parsons, the EXCEPTIONALLY-responsive property manager who helped us right away. Actually, carrying the cell phone (which KiToKay provides) made us feel like we were never really alone, in the event we needed anything at all during our stay on Grand Cayman. The upper deck is fabulous. We saw two moon rises and beautiful starry skies. It was very windy while we were there. Still, we enjoyed watching and hearing the waves roll in. We may have spent more time on that deck than inside the house! Finally, the 14-step spiral staircase was not a problem for us, but potential renters should know that their quadriceps will get a workout there!

The beach at KiToCay offers excellent shallow-water snorkeling. We strongly advise guests to stay along the east of the boat channel which is clearly marked by two navigation poles.

Snorkeling beyond the poles near the reef cut is risky with powerful undercurrents that can prove dangerous even for experienced snorkelers.

The sandy beach lots are maintained by the owner. The waterline, due to mother nature, can be either pebbly or sandy, but otherwise very flat for walking into the water with foot protection or swim fins. The marine area is vibrant and we don't want our guests to step on sharp shell shards, urchin spine, or rough corals with bare feet.  

General Grand Cayman Beach Notes

All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically public since the Crown owns up to the high water mark.

The shoreline quality behind your property may vary slightly from the images on our website due to shifting tides and weather patterns. The next-door beach is also always available for your use.

Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed

Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally.

Sargassum is a generally harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency over the years during the summer. Our owners do make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked prior to your arrival. 

Should sargassum weed be extremely heavy behind your property, we will reach out to the owner for alternative solutions which may include a partial refund or relocation.

Lower Occupancy Discounts

Owner offers lower rates for fewer guests:

  • Groups of 4 or fewer guests, staying over non-holiday nights, receive a $75 discount off the daily rate. 
  • Unoccupied rooms will be locked off for the duration of your stay.

Occupancy Discounts are automatically applied against the full base rent when entering your dates and number of guests.  

Booking Rules

  • 5 nights minimum stay required.
  • Shorter stays may be available but subject to a higher cleaning fee. Please inquire before booking.
  • 7 nights minimum and full occupancy required over Christmas and New Year's week.
  • Christmas & New Year's dates are split into two rental periods. Please inquire with your travel dates prior to booking.
  • Must be 25 years or older to book and must occupy the property during the entire stay.
  • Small weddings and events are welcome and require a supplemental refundable damages deposit. Weddings require a 7-night stay. 

Villa Cleaning & Sanitation

All villas are cleaned and sanitized prior to each guest's arrival. We also ask our owners to provide a starter supply of extra cleaning products.

Additional housekeeping services can be purchased after booking in 3-hour time blocks. Scheduling may be coordinated with your property manager upon arrival.
