Babylon Reef is an amazing property! Just had one of the best family trips of our lives. It is a nice sized house with a beautiful outdoor space. The pool area is great to lounge around and just a few steps to the ocean which is the most beautiful clear blue. Snorkeling right off the beach is amazing and you will see such a variety of sea life and coral. The kitchen area is great and has anything you need. The abundance of beach towels and beach chairs was appreciated. We also enjoyed the various books about the island and the puzzles. The privacy of the home was amazing. We basically had the beach to ourselves. It's a short drive to some great restaurants. Love the location. Highly recommend Babylon Reef.

Babylon Reef proved to be the perfect spot for a quiet getaway: a beautiful and well appointed villa with plenty of privacy, a beach in the backyard and an inviting pool to enjoy a cooling dip. We easily made ourselves at home on the first day, and only left the property a few times to enjoy local eateries and a visit to Rum Point. The weather provided plentiful sunshine, with a few warm thunderstorms tossed in for variety. The property management company was responsive to the only one (and very minor) issue we had which was quickly remedied. This is one of those vacation homes we know we will return to - leaving after close to two weeks was not easy!

We were excited to be among the first to arrive on the island. A fantastic welcome, a beautiful island, gracious and kind people, unbelievable marine life. Babylon Reef was a Caribbean dream home with amazing snorkeling out back and provided everything we needed for our 9-day stay. Huge "thank you" to Scott from reservations who made the entry process easy by returning calls in a timely manner, answering all questions, and helping us through all COVID requirements. He knew the villas, the island, and the fun excursions- very knowledgeable. Thank you to Jim for responding to our numerous emails and questions regarding entry to the island. I highly recommend Grand Cayman Villas. You are a top rate company. We will be back.

Wow is the only word I can describe my stay at Babylon Reef for 15 days! From Scott helping me navigate from booking to departure, the beautiful grounds, fabulous beds and everything in between Babylon Reef for quarantine or vacation is such a perfect property. I hope to return with family or friends to enjoy the snorkeling, kayaks and the beach as in quarantine it was from the inside of the fence but you still woke up daily with a view to ease the pain. The manager on island and Scott were readily available to help with any issues. Great communication from them. Thanks again and again can’t say enough about Babylon Reef

Enjoyed a New Years visit to Babylon Reef. Loved the home. Great open main floor plan with lots of room to relax and play games. Outdoor deck and pool area is perfect. Really nice sized pool, plenty of room to play games and swim. Kitchen was well equipped and home came with ample paper supplies. Snorkeling was great right out behind the home. Location is great and it\'s about a 10 minute drive to the East End and about 15 minutes to Rum Point. We would love to come back and stay here again. We had no problems at all with this home over a week long period. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Fourth time to Grand Cayman - first at Babylon Reef! Our family of 6 spent a week at Babylon Reef after an exhausting search for the perfect home! We found that home in Babylon Reef. The owners obviously take great care in their home as shown by the high quality and condition of the home - very clean and crisp, updated, large living area, large glassed in porch, huge pool and pool deck. pool toys, kayaks and games. Bedrooms are big enough, comfortable. Snorkeling is fantastic. Kayaked and swam daily. Favorite restaurants - Tukka, Taco Cantina, Lighthouse. Favorite activities - snorkeling, swimming, beach walks, Stingray Charter, crystal caves. Guarantee we will be back soon!

Third trip to Grand Cayman north side. Babylon Reef is the spot! Perfect in every way. No hesitation in recommending this home!

We enjoyed our stay on Grand Cayman at Babylon Reef. This home is beautiful, crisp, clean and well maintained. Nice kitchen fully equipped. Large living area. Bedrooms were nice and beds comfortable. The pool deck is wonderful and large. Plenty of shade on the sides. Amazing view. The snorkeling and kayaking are the best we have ever encountered. We highly recommend for groups up to 6 guests. We are already planning a return stay at Babylon Reef 5 STAR!

5 Star all the way around...home, location and overall experience. Our first time to Cayman and we definitely nailed the accommodations. The home is in great condition and would accommodate 6 well. There were two of us, and we only went upstairs once to look around. Easy to book. Only needed text communication with the property manager to ask a couple questions. Dive shop = Ocean Frontiers. Dining = Tukka, Lighthouse, Kaibo Upstairs. Grocery and Liquor = down the road to the east across from Morritt\'s. Excursions = Stingray Sandbar at 6AM. Otherwise, just chill. Let\'s keep this place a secret though. If anyone asks where you stayed in Cayman, the correct response is \"we stayed at the Marriott on Seven Mile Beach and it was great!\". Thanks to the owners and GCVC for a great experience.

Babylon Reef was a quiet destination to relax. The house was the perfect size for our family of five. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and the many activities that were available at the house, including games, foosball, bags, and kayaks. The house is in the quieter part of the island, but an easy drive to seven mile beach if you want more options. We enjoyed several restaurants on the north and east side, as well as a Stingray City tour with Redsail Tours. The house was clean and well stocked. We did not have to contact the property manager during our stay. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for sharing your home!

Our family recently stayed at this property for a week over Winter Break. The home was very impressive. The expansive windows allow you to fully take advantage of it\'s perfect location, and views. There were a couple minor issues (blown light bulbs, swarms of bugs in the yard), but overall the property manager, Ola, was attentive in caring for our concerns. The home is beautifully decorated and was very clean. We really enjoyed the kayaks and stand up paddle board. The pool was lovely, but a little cool for our liking, as it was not heated. If you stay in this home, you must rent a vehicle. The restaurants we went to nearby were generally fair. We frequented Tukka and The Lighthouse. Our meals at Rum Point Club, and the Ristorante Papagallo (7 Mile Beach), were much more impressive in meal quality. We took a SUP tour of Starfish Point with Sweet Spot, which I would highly recommend. Additionally, we visited the Turtle Farm, which was a lot of fun. If you want to actually swim with the turtles, head to the farm in the morning, as we arrived too late in the day to have this opportunity. Our family would certainly return to the Cayman Islands. The booking process was simple and the communication was great in preparation for our trip. We would highly recommend renting from this company!

We really enjoyed our stay at Babylon Reef house (even though I had to leave early) and Ola was fabulous attending to us. First the house. This home is ideal for a family of 4-5 people or 2 couples (though 3 could work). The house was very clean, and a great layout. The kitchen is great, with all the pots/pans and utensils needed. If stop at the grocery story on your way (Hurleys!) be sure to buy small bottles of condiments and oils, and maybe bring a few of your favorite spices. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The best part of the home is the pool, deck and inside patio area, just open the doors, link the Bose speaker to your favorite music and sit back and relax! Everyday we put the pool to good use, BBQ'd a couple of times, and even enjoyed the hammock. The beach area was pretty full of seaweed (which is commented on in other reviews) but at low tide we still enjoyed walks along the shore and found many beautiful shells. During our trip is was too windy to use the kayaks or snorkel, but the home guest book does have comments about how great the snorkeling was. As for the island, what a cool place. we drove over to the west side and experienced "city life" but the east side, even rum point, is very low key and awesome! Also, we saw many beach side homes, and what we really loved about this place was that is was very quiet. we rarely heard cars on the road, nor planes or boats, and the lots on both sides are vacant, so plenty of room between homes, if you want peace and quiet this place is it!

the place more the exceeded my expectations. It was perfection the villa the view the ambiance, it was a living postcard I can't wait to go back again next year. The island and the people there are the nicest and cleanest in the Caribbean thank God it still owned by the British the influence is evident.

My family and I absolutely loved everything about the villa. It was pristine lovely location the people were great grand cayman as always still one of the safest and cleanest places to visit in the Caribbean. I would recommend this to everyone who wants to get away and catch some sun if your looking for parties and and bar hopping then find something closer to seven mile beach. Babylon Reef is one of those homes you don\'t want to write a review of because you don't want anyone to know about it! It was everything we hoped it would be - quiet, no neighbors, beautiful pool, great snorkeling right out front, kayaks on the premises, a well appointed house - what more can I say. Will definitely return unless too many others find out about this gem and I can't get a booking!

We stayed labor day weekend at the Babylon Reef home, which far exceeded our expectations. The home was in great condition, recently updated (kitchen, bathrooms, floors, etc), was perfectly clean, and had all accommodating towels and toiletries. The pool and views were amazing. The pool had very nice teak furniture and a teak deck, which was all north facing making for nice sun/shade mix throughout the day. The snorkeling off the rocky beach was good and enjoyable, but it was a little more challenging to walk on the beach and shallow water since it was so rocky. Not a negative, just not as much sandy beach as expected. This time of year some local restaurants in the east end and Rum Point area were closed, but we enjoyed the eagle ray bar, tukka, over the edge, and Kurt's korner. We dove with ocean frontiers in east end and they were fun, fairly priced, and went to great sites.

Babylon Reef is a special place. The house is modern, comfortable, clean, spacious, very well equipped and maintained, along with great snorkeling nearby offshore. The beach beyond the white fence down a few steps is mostly rocky, but there is a nice stretch of sand along the entire width of the property providing plenty of space if you want to spend time close to the water. If you want to go in the water, you will need foot protection as the rocks are pretty rough for the first 10-15 feet out. We were drawn to this house by the good snorkeling and privacy. The large coral head straight out from the house offers really good shallow water snorkeling--coral and fish. You may find others snorkeling nearby as this house is a landmark on snorkeling sites as where you should enter the water for great snorkeling. As for privacy, the back area with the pool and beach inside the fence is quite private, but not as private as it may appear. That area cannot be seen from the beach as it is elevated above the beach. To the right are just heavily wooded vacant lots. However, the neighbor on the left side allows the public to use a path to the beach from the road--this path is just beyond the fence and has a full view of the Babylon property. One day we found a truck parked at the end of the path in clear view of the pool area with two fishermen in the front of the villa on the beach. This was a bit of a surprise! Overall, we loved the Babylon Reef house and highly recommend it. We will be back. Ola, thanks for renting your beautiful house to us.

We love your home! A great home away from home. Its high 80's here and low 40's back at home. This is truly amazing. The caves were really interesting and we loved Stingray City and Starfish Bay. Snorkling was even better and we saw a turtle. Thank you for letting us stay with you.

We travel annually to St. Martin's, but due to Hurricane Irma, we chose the Caymans instead. It was our 30th anniversary trip and we have stayed in MANY, many villas and Babylon Reef ranks #1!!! Unmatched location and views, everything immaculate and in working condition which is very rare! Our favorite restaurant: Tukka. The owners of this villa are truly blessed. My husband and I spent our honeymoon here. Babylon Reef became home in a short period of time. We enjoyed the local restaurants, pool, kayaking, and the beach. Although we traveled to 7 Mile Beach often for the activities, we would recommend this house to anyone looking to get away.

If you are looking to peace and quiet this is the place. Beautiful view, wonderful pool, amenities and yet close to many fun bars and great restaurants. Only minor issue was hot water was at times hard to get in showers however, the out door shower had plenty. My wife and I would love to return to this home.

This house was in an ideal location. You could reach Rum Point, Kaibo or the East End in a matter of minutes. It was a 40-45 minute trip to Georgetown or Seven Mile Beach, but totally manageable when we wanted to venture out to visit the touristy spots. We found ourselves not wanting to venture far because the house was CLEAN, had a pool, hammock, and outdoor shower not to mention a well-stocked kitchen. The house was spacious with plenty of seating to stretch out. Nights were quiet with comfortable bedding and temperatures. On the rainy evenings, we used our Netflix account on the AppleTV. We even had a cornhole competition & championship throughout our stay. Ola was very responsive & answered all questions in a timely manner. We've traveled quite a bit, renting homes over the last 8 years and I don't write reviews often, but this is one home which I will definitely re-book upon a return trip to the island. It was truly easy to enjoy being a family. You can't go wrong with Babylon Reef!
